Closed for Easter Break

Friends,
As I’ve been saying for weeks now, the curbside model isn’t profitable for every restaurant. In fact, at Aldo’s, we’ve lost money most days that we’ve operated under the curbside-only model, particularly in the last week.

We had already planned to close for a few days around the Memorial Day holiday. After reviewing our recent sales, we’ve made the decision to extend that closure until June 5, 2020 to allow ourselves some time to think creatively with our team, customers, and city and state leadership about ways to improve profitability and create a sustainable and durable business model that works for all of us.

You may recall we took a two week Easter break in April (reopening on April 20). Once again, we look forward to reopening after this short furlough, stronger and better than ever.

Aldo’s has been a mainstay in Baltimore’s Little Italy for over 20 years, since 1998. We will be back on June 5, 2020 at 5pm to serve you once again. We’re very much looking forward to it!

Thank you!

Baltimore’s most celebrated Italian restaurant is also the Zagat Survey’s highest-scoring Italian restaurant in the state of Maryland.

Chef/Owners Aldo Vitale and Sergio Vitale create delicately balanced, southern-influenced regional Italian cuisine which finds its setting in sumptuously-appointed dining rooms steeped in classical Italian tradition which cabinet-maker-turned-chef Aldo personally crafted.

As passionate proponents of locally grown organic produce and seasonal ingredients, we maintain close relationships with farmers, fishmongers and butchers to ensure exceedingly fresh ingredients. After all, as our Guest, you deserve nothing less.
